help us, don't help our enemies please
Donald Rumsfeld's
recent comments on Iran, has been his most true comment since Bush administration took power. (He said that U.S does not want to attack to Iran, for Iranian people will overthrow current Islamic regime soon.) But the fact is that any sort of these comments, especially those that trying to sympathize with reformists or ordinary people, could be abused by hard-liners. They are in a bad political situation and they seek a way to prove their opponents reformists (i.e. President Khatami and his allies) are being backed by U.S. (In leader's latest speech, he accuses reformists of trying to destroy the current regime, as U.S wishes)
For God's sake, don't comment on Iran like that if you really don't want hard-liners get out of their biggest crisis ever after Islamic revolution in 1979. Maybe that's why left wing of Bush admin. (Powell etc.) don't comment much about Iran.
