Satelite TV

A large number of people have satelite dishes and have access to hundreds of TV channels from all around the world, including Arab countries like UAE. This one I guess was an American series with Arabic subtitle.

Satellite is the right word! not Satelite!

To Trevor; I don't have official numbers to look at, but the percentage is small. There are Arab-Iranians living in South and South-Western provinces of Iran. I'd estimate their numbers to be less than 5% of total Iranian population. There are also those who have studied Arabic as a foreign language, both in seminaries as well as normal schools and universities, as studying other languages is mandatory in Iranian school system. But again, this number is also small as far more students learn English, French and other languages. Hope this helps somewhat.
