Sina in prision - Day 17

In the lastest development, Masoud Behnoud, a veteran journalist who had the same situation as Sina and even worse (he spent 50 days in a tiny dark cell), has spken out against the silence about Sina. Behnoud, who now lives in London, wrote in his weblog that he understood Sina's wife's worries and fears and added that being silent or not, made no difference in priosioner's condition during or after the imprisonment. Behnoud's post helped a few writers who were silent by the time, to write about Sina's arrest and it's consequences.

Pedram Moallemian has also written an article for the Irish "Blanket" about Sina's arrest and weblogs in Iran.

BBC World Service, in it's weekly audio program called "Go Digital", interviewed a BBC Persian section reporter, Mehrdad Farahmand, about Sina's arrest. Although I don't think he has quite understood the importance of this arrest.
