Persian blogosphere in Wired
By the way, Wired news finally noticed Persian weblog through the BlogTalk conference in Vienna last week. Although I think the numbers of weblogs in differet countries can not be compared without a standard and similar methodology.

Nice article, I thought. I e-mailed it to one of my Persian (also living in Toronto) friends.
Have you seen Weblog Crawl Report ( http://www.idlewords.com/crawler/crawl_report.pl )? Currently analysing 395,640 blogs, it counts 16,892 as being written in Farsi.
