Brave reporters needed

There are very popular rumours about Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani's (former president and one of the top 5 most influential men in Islamic Republic) investments in Canada. For example many people think that he has bought the privately-owned 407 toll highway in Toronto, or he has acquired a huge piece of land in Vancouver in order to build residentia units.

No one has actually seen or provided any evidence on these matters, but I guess a brave and professional Canadian or American or Eroupian reporter can investigate about them with some help from Iranian folks. If anybody is interested, he or she should bear in mind that they ususally don't use their own name to bu these things.

Aside from their real family name which is "Bahremani" and not "Rafsanjani", they have many family memebrs with different family names. I guess if anybody could prove this kind of stuff , it's the best way to help democratic movement in Iran. These investigations are stronger than any other verbal support of student protests etc. If you really want to support democracy in Iran, try to show the world how corrupt is the clerics who has blocked any reformist movement toward democracy.

Check out this weeks (July 21, 2003) Forbes magazine. It has a pretty picture of "Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani" on the cover with an interesting article titled "Iran's Millionare Mullahs". It's worth reading.

It would not surprise me if he was doing such things. He has to know his days are numbered once the revolution is underway. The man is pure evil! I hope he doesn't get away with too much of the Iranian peoples money.
