Project "Ordinary Iranians for Parliament" needs your help

I haven't forgot about the idea of a collective nomination for The Iranian Parliament that I suggested a couple of weeks ago. But wanted to do it in the right time to get as much publicity as it could. Although the protest has captured the hole election debate now, I guess we have to launch it in the coming weeks.

But I have a problem and I appreciate if anyone can help me out: I'm looking for a little piece of script that can work like an online dating application in which can register, post their platform, upload pictures, and maybe comment on each others ideas and plans. I definitely don't have a budget for it right now, unless I really don't find any free one. More details can be found in a MetaFilter post I wrote while ago.

So please help me out. We are kind of running late.

I'd be willing to build an Oddmuse wiki for this. One of your requirements is "security" however. What do you mean by that? I'm not sure if you're familiar with wikis; Oddmuse wikis can be "locked" in a variety of ways: * pages can be locked and editable only by users with the editor password * all pages can be locked, but for every page there is a comment page that is free for all * the default is all pages being editable by all, but all changes can be reverted, too, so we rely on peer review and "soft security" instead of passwords Feel free to send me some mail if you're interested.

There's plenty of code out there, as the MetaFilter discussion shows. It sounds like what you may need more than software is a person who wants to put some ongoing effort into this particular piece of the project, and is confident they can do what you need. I am both underqualified and busy elsewhere, but will spread the word.

Is that a "little piece of script"? :-) I'm sure you can find different bits and pieces from online sources, but can you assemble the whole thing together in a secure way?
