Iranfilter is filtered
I've got a few emails saying that Sobhaneh and iranFilter are filtered by the government, because of the election day coverage that we did. It's frustrating. Especially when you think that Khatami can't force his own minister of communication, Ahmad Motamedi, obey his policies about an unrestricted Internet. Motamedi is now totally doing what hardliners tell him to do.
However since their filtering software differentiates between subdomains, we can use this as a way to get around the filtering. but the problem is that Hosting Matters doesn't let me have more that 10 subdomains in each account. If they lift the limit on my account, I can setup new subdomains to avoid the filters. Does anybody have a contact in Hosting Matters?

He had an existing ticket open on the helpdesk when he made this post. Case closed.

if there's a way that some readers may know a way to help him, why should he not ask them? it makes sense to make use of any resources you can.
and i would hardly say that his question was plaintive.

Why act as if you're being specifically persecuted? The account plan you're on only allows 10 subdomains. If you want more subdomains simply open a helpdesk ticket and buy them. Or upgrade your account.
It makes much more sense to actually ask the question of those who know instead of bleating a plaintive post to the anonymous ether, eh?

Are you sure Sobhaneh and IranFiltered are filtered? They appeared to be down for about half an hour. But now they are back on track (a little slow though)
