Blogging conference in Toronto

Today, at 6:30 PM, I'll be speaking about blogs in Iran at a conference about Public and Participatory Journalism in Toronto. The one-day conference starts from 12 PM and its program is available on their website.

Dan Gillmor, Jay Rosen, Jeff Jarvis, David Akin, Rebecca MacKinnon and Warren Kinsella wil be speaking too.

By the way, Globe and Mail has published an article about blogging in its Saturday's issue. (When they started this stupid free registration?)

I have a book that a friend of mine found and I believe it is written in Farsi. He wants to know what it is. Email me if you know farsi and I can scan the cover to you thanks.

good luck with the conference Hoder! I observed the same thing about the G&M (oddly with re:2 the same article!). I think it is yet *another* weak attempt to make us think that the G&M is of the same calibre as the NYTimes, which also has this free registration stupidity.
