Bush has harmed democracy in Iran
As mush Kerry looked knowledgeable, confident, and focused, Bush seemed like a nervous teenager, looking for some help. His mimic was exactly the same as when he heard about the news about 9/11 attack in that school: desperate, helpless, on the verge of breaking down to tears.
As Seymour Hersh said the other night in the Daily Show, neocons have almost done a coup in America, hijacking all basic principles of this nation for their own corporate interest.
Nothing is more ironically revealing than George W. Bush is the first MBA president of the United Stated.
As for Iran's nuclear issue I have to say that Bush not only has done anything to curb the Islamic regime's desire to achieve nuclear weaponry, but also helped the radical fractions by his empty threats against Iran while the more moderate parts were actually helping American troops in Afghanistan.
Bush did a big contribution to the bitter defeat of reformists in the internal political struggle which has had no consequence but assisting the Revolutionary Guards to capture the entire political arena and to accelerate their effort to make their nuclear weapon to defend themselves.
As an Iranian, I believe Bush has been very harmful to the process of democratization of Iran and I'd vote for Kerry, if I could.

So what should be the specific US policy toward Iran?
---------
The problem is that you can't vote except for those whom your clerics decide. Iran is not a democracy, it is a theoracracy. I can vote and I will vote for Bush because he pushes for democracy throughout the world. I find it very interesting how Iran has forgotten about the Iran/Iraq war in which so many Iranians were killed by Saddam Hussein. Iran should be thanking America and Bush for getting rid of that evil dictator.
---------
No, there is no difference between Kerry and Bush. They may have two different approaches to the same goals in their foreign policy.
---------
The world is much worse off due to Bush's leadership (or lack of) in past 4 years. Illegal and immoral wars will not only help fighting terrorism but it helps to cultivate the breathing grounds for desperate and radical ideas.
---------
The difference is that while Bush lied us into war, Kerry would only fight a war if it were necessary, with enough troops and force to win the war and peace afterwards, with a strong, real coalition of allies which could solidify the effort.
---------
To be honest I really don't see much of a difference in Kerry's or Bush' foreign policy. The only major difference is that Kerry would prefer to have more allies and just bomb the enemy; while Bush on the other hand feels that theres is no need for allies.
---------
Oh by the way I don'tthink neither did good job on their debate. Kerry sounded like a robot, winded for the occation becoming weary towards the end. Bush could stand still, and his mimics showed how unsmart* he is.
* I dont want to call stupidfor obvious reasons.

Dear Hosein
It is really a wierd way to conclude is dumbe beacuse he has an MBA.MBA graduates have done great deals for the prosperity of the world. I do believe that Bush is the ugly duck.
---------
Bush was clearly the loser in last nights debates. Just look at some of the online polls at all the major news sources - According to ABC's poll, 91% to 7% of Americans feel Kerry was the most confident and self assured. Even right wing bloggers expressed their disappointment at their commander-in-chief's lame performance. Granted, Bush got a few good jabs in but on the whole he came off as the pinheaded fratboy he is.

"As Seymour Hersh said the other night in the Daily Show, neocons have almost done a coup in America, hijacking all basic principles of this nation for their own corporate interest."
No, he didn't say "for their own corporate interest". This is your personal conclusion, Hoder. On contrary he implied something quite different that I happen to agree with. They are after their simplistic views of the world. Their corpoate interest is a just consequence.
I agree, though, with your assessment on Bush's role in the defeat of Iran's reform ('r' lower case). But we have to remember that the reform was heading for defeat anyway and what Bush did just sped it up. There were a lot of flaws and shortcomings in the Iranian reform movement to begin with. It wasn't just ready. It takes a lot more than "we don't want mullahs" to change things for the better.

It never ceases to amaze me, to see USA, France and whoever is behind the WMD industry have the balls to ask Iran to let go of its Boucher power plant, while they the supwerpowers themselves have enough WMD to destroy this planet a zillion times. I mean, USA had the Thre Mile Island incident. when was the last time you was UN inspectors demanding that USA close down all of its nuclear power plants and allow UN to enter Area 51 to ensure they are not devloping the next generation of bubonic plague there? Never!
---------
I agree with you wholeheartedly and Bush's mistakes with Iran are one of my main reasons for voting for Kerry.
---------
i prefer kerry but i'm sure bush will win in this game. bush needs to more time for destroy the world and i think we have to wait for another war in middleeast, just one day war or more.
---------
Kerry was confident. Bush was very confident and I think he deservedly won the debate. He gave great details on his plans while Kerry couldn't really define his plans (as usual). Kerry could not (as usual) decide whether or not Saddam was a threat or not. Too bad, Kerry.
