Vancouver is green, blue, and progressive
What a lovely and beautiful city Vancouver is. The sky is blue, houses and buildings are actually designed and have big and good-looking windows, people are progressive, trees are everywhere, the buses use electricity, streets are full of trees, amazing mountains are in the north, food is great, and briefly, it's an amazing place for those who love the nature and just want to read, write, etc.
I've yet had a chance to wander in the city the way I always do, because of a nice friend I'm staying with at UBC residence, who has rented a car. But I have to start it soon. I have to leave on Monday and there isn't much time left to walk, discover and breath.
Is there anywhere you think I should definitely see?

Hey,
You should definately visit Queen Elizabeth park. It is off Cambie Street. It is
quite beautiful.
For nature, you should see Capilano bridge and perhaps Grouse Mountain; both exemplary nature spots in the North Shore.
PS. Please link http://www.askwhy.co.uk/judaism/0260IranGods.html on your site with the text "Zoroastrian influences on Judaism and Christianity" on the link in order for people to be educated in the Iranian cultural contribution to the world.
Thanks.

I am glad you enjoy the breathtaking nature of Vancouver. You should definetely take a stroll in Stanley Park, perhaps walk along the seawall. It will be an experience you cannot get in Toronto.

Vancouver: Granville Island (a must), Stanley Park (start from English Bay), Gastown and Robson (good food), and the Queen Elizabeth Park (a bit early, but nice flowers). North Shore: Grouse Mountain (great view of the city), Capilano Suspension Bridge (and a smaller one in Burnaby), Capilano Salmon Hatchery (along with the dam, could be intersting), Horseshoe Bay (nice scenary, check out West Van, maybe picnic there), and Deep Cove (at the eastern edge of North Van by the Indian Arm).
