Tehran
I arrived on Sunday morning and everything has been okso far. Excpet that it's really hot here and the dial-up internet connection is unbearable.
Went to the women's protest and met some bloggers on the street. Took so many photos and videos which are impossible to upload with dial-up connection.
Oh, by the way. My website (hoder.com) is seriousely filtered here. So is Flickr. this is the most frustrating that itcould get.
I'll write more later.
Please help finance this trip, if you haven't yet.

Dear Derakhshan: If you would have taken your lingerie with you, you could have support the trip by being a male prostitute in the streets of Tehran.

As someone said somewhere, I, too wanna visit my family and in terms of journalistic talent I definitly can compare to this guy so I don't mind sending me your money for a visit to Iran and I promise to send you daily updates and pictures...

Hossain Derakhshan thinks all Iranians are stupids. He forgot where he lives and besides all his travels to europe and America or spending money for Dariush, Googoosh and Madona's concerts, now he asks some simple, naive, poor Iranians who can't even support their own life come and pay for his ticket to Iran. Is there any other way to make a name for yourself? Iranian government is more intelligent than this to pay attention to his web advertising.

Agha, quite behaving like a gedaa and asking people for donations constantly. We appreciate what you do and don't want to discourage you, but there are plenty of credible journalists who pay their own way to Iran, you give the impression that your insight is somehow more profound than theirs. It seems you are more in seek of attention than you are in reform.

Hello Hoder,
Please email me and let me know a phone number where we can call you to do a Skypcast. You don't need an internet connection, just a phone we can call in to. That would be a great way to get more information about your trip to the rest of the world and generate more publicity for what you're doing.
