No Ahmadinejad
As much as I dislike Ahmadinejad, I don't think the guy in this picture is him. They look similar, but have differenet eyes and eybrows.

Duh-uh. This whole thing is SO politically loded. How convenient that the ex-hostages just happened to notice this resemblance right after the elections...
If I were paranoid, I'd think it's just another weak propaganda excuse for an US invasion.
Nobody actually cares, or can tell, whether the picture looks like Ahmadinejad or not.

That's the wrong guy. Ahmadinejad is the one in the blazer on the right. He matches. Check it out here and here.

there is a tendency in the western "free" press to report that many iranian youth are hoping for a showdown with the US which could install a more liberal regime...i believe it is no different from the assumption these guys made about iraqis..hoping that they would flood the streets of baghdad cheering and shouting pro-american slogans, waving american flags or rather thanking the american administration...but, as we all know, we didnt witness anything close to that! i have no reason to believe the majority of the iranians will act any differently than what the iraqis are doin now...Resisting! we should continue to let the iranians conduct their own reform process...be it economical, political or social.
i just hope the new administration understands that attaining the nuclear power status is not their immediate priority.

Hoder, I wonder how you can distinguish his eyes on this picture. I can't even see his eyebrows which by the way can be modified.
I mean if you really want to defend the regime it is your right but stop thinking that everyone reading your post is as dumb as you are.
