Meeting with young Israelis

Last night's meeting with over fifty Tel Avivians went very well and I guess it was really effective in the way they now view Iran and its cultural and political complexities.

Please read Lisa's take on yesterday's events, including that meeting.

Great blog and good effort on organising such a trip. Looking forward to reading more of your tales and reports of the people you meet. Have fun!

A note of reality What did the meeting accomplish except give people a false hope? When Israelis burn due to an Iranian atomic bomb, will they be comforted about the Iranian who came to visit? Nations act and are responsible for their actions as a whole. All Israelis are on the same boat. There are no passes from Hamas. Iran will suffer for the actions of its government and no one will get an exemption.

I hope that you do get to meet with President Moshe Katsav. Did you ask Rinat if she could make that happen? Please blog about it if it does happen.

Hi, I follow your trip from the first day and I am really impressed by your creativity and courage. I suggest you to visit YAD VA SHEM (the Holocaust memorial museum) in Jerusalem and write your impressions of it. I think Ahmadi nejad's anti Holocaust campaign has a very bad influence on Iranian people who have no means to hear the other side. Wish you a pleasant and fertile trip
