Ahmadinejad in Bushehr
Why do you think Ahmadinejad's important speech today, defending Iran's right of producing nuclear energy (read nuclear weaponry) was done in the southern and poor city of Bushehr?
Because they just can't mobilize enough people in Tehran who'll be willing to show any support for this man. Then they would not be able to show off the popular support for him and Whit he was saying.

Do you really think that he cannot mobilize some 1000s in a 7 mio city like Tehran? Of course he could!

I found that very interesting. I have often wondered if this politics have real popular support in Iran. And when I see these big crowds where you can't see no women I always wonder where are they? Do they really agree with this position of retunring home and not being free to walk on the streets without veil and submit theirselves to men?
I agree with you about war, sometimes it seems to me that this Iran president is so useful to Bush govt and Israel govt that I cannot believe it.
