U.S. and NED endorse Iranian women's 'One Million Signature' campaign
What bigger picture would the following facts draw, if you were the Iranian government:
a) The infamous National Endowment for Democracy is going to endorse the Iranian women's rights campaign, namely 'One Million Signatures' to a gathering in Ukraine in May.
b) Last year, the Voice of America's website published an editorial promoting and endorsing the One Million Signature campaign in an editorial which, it says, reflects the view of the U.S. government.
c) In 2003 Mehrangiz Kar, one of the founders and leaders of the One Million Signature campaign, was given the NED's Democracy Award personally by Laura Bush.

If I were the Iranian government I would be a medievalist who persecutes Bahais and Zoroastrians, wants to hold Jews and Christians in dhimitude status, hangs gay teens, threatens raped woemen with death and bullies the rest of them into dressing in medieval rags, and who has people like yourself working as his shills. You say you hate colonialism--but Islam itself is one of the greatest forms of colonialism. How many people in Iran were murdred before the country fell into Islam? The fact that you have hardly any commentors proves in part how unseriously you are taken. Everyone knows that yoyu are a spy whose mission is to snare Iranian bloggers. Hope you get a nice job in the govt. when you return.

You have to be careful not to discredit a campaign because of its supporters.
A decent campaign can be supported by bad people.
Did Saddam's support of the Palestinians make theirs an invalid cause? Of course not.
